Teriyaki Salmon Rice Bowl
This high-protein bowl delivers a powerful dose of omega-3 fatty acids and complex carbohydrates, making it an excellent recovery meal after a hard workout.
Ingredients
- 150g raw salmon fillet, skinless · 268 kcal
- 150g cooked brown rice · 184 kcal
- 80g broccoli florets · 25 kcal
- 50g boiled edamame (shelled) · 60 kcal
- 1 tbsp (15g) teriyaki sauce · 13 kcal
- 1 tsp (5g) sesame oil · 44 kcal
- 1 tsp (5g) sesame seeds · 32 kcal
- A pinch of salt, black pepper, and garlic powder
Method
Season the salmon fillet with sesame oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then bake at 200°C (400°F) for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.

Steam or boil the broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp, and warm up the pre-cooked brown rice and edamame.

Place the warm brown rice at the base of your bowl.

Arrange the baked salmon, broccoli, and edamame in separate sections on top of the rice.

Drizzle with teriyaki sauce and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
