- 1 small skinless chicken breast (about 110g) · 232 kcal in the whole recipe
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil · 88 kcal in the whole recipe
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Method
Season the chicken breast on both sides with your choice of salt, pepper, and spices.

Heat the vegetable oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the chicken for 1 minute on each side until lightly browned.

Cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 10 minutes without lifting the lid.

Turn off the heat and let the chicken rest covered for another 10 minutes to lock in the juices.

Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before slicing and serving.
