Macro calculator
Your daily calories split into protein, carbs and fat — using the same approach Besly uses in the app: protein set by body weight first, fat as a healthy share, carbs fill the rest. Runs in your browser; nothing is stored.
How the macros are set
Calories start from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation times your activity level (see the calorie calculator). Losing weight subtracts about 550 kcal a day; building muscle adds about 250.
Protein comes first and is set per kilogram of body weight: 1.6 g/kg when losing, 1.2 g/kg when maintaining, 1.8 g/kg when building muscle, and 2.0 g/kg on the high-protein style. Fat is 30% of calories (never below 0.6 g/kg). Carbs fill whatever is left — capped at 100 g on the low-carb style, with the remaining calories moved to fat.
Hitting the numbers is the hard part. Besly logs meals from a sentence or a photo and shows your protein, carbs and fat filling up through the day — and its recipes are already portioned in these terms. Get Besly →
